| Sean
O’Leary has been writing and recording his own material for
many years. He only recently discovered Hopkins' work and was moved
and inspired to put most of his poems to music. These musical adaptations
are in a range of styles that reflect both the breadth of Hopkins'
verse and O'Leary's eclectic taste. Most of the songs have been
recorded ‘live’, that is, sung as improvised performances
with guitar in one-take and then backing has been added later. |
